In Harlem, people ball in the snow, so it’s no surprise that heads formed at the House Of Hoops in the cold rain late last night for the 8AM release of the Q Rich and Ray Allen Air Jordan Retro 8 PEs.
The white and orange colorway (above) was made for Quentin Richardson of the New York Knicks, and the black and green (below) for Ray Allen of the Boston Celtics.
Both colorways were sold for $140 to those who took a number and waited for the store to open at 8AM.

Air Jordan 1 x Levi’s 23/50 Package Detailed Look

Quite possibly one of the most major collaborations of our time, Air Jordan and Levi’s team up to create a limited edition package consisting of a pair of Levi’s 501 premium selvedge jeans, tee shirt and a pair of the Air Jordan 1.
Each piece features contributions from both brands. For the Levi’s 501 selvedge jeans, the signature cement print is used on the inside of the jeans and also seen at where the jeans are cuffed. The Air Jordan 1 also features a great amount of detail including a denim, which is seen from at the front of the shoe and runs to the back.
The package has been executed perfectly and everything looks to be precise. Their has been high anticipation for the release, but it has been set for March 1st at select Levi’s stores and Niketown locations. Via Complex.

One of the interesting features of the Copper Pack is the use of the Basketball leather seen at the middle panel above. In addition, a net like pattern is embroidered at the back part of the shoe. Nike extends their Be True slogan to their South East Asia (SEA) department which has created two special Nike Dunk Low ID’s. White, Blue, Black and Violet combine to form the men’s Dunk ID and features the words “Be True” inscribed at the heel.
The women’s model is a little bit different, it features the words “True Love” at the heal and sports a White, Grey, Violet, and Pink color-way. However, it appears that each shoe features a mixture of premium materials along with different ID colors.

This Air Max 90 sports a Black/White/Blue/Red color-way along with a random Black and White pattern at the back of the shoe, however the use of mesh instead of leather is a nice plus. The Red stitching as well as the laces adds a nice touch to what would be a rather lackluster looking trainer. Gold is a color that is rarely seen used by Nike as the base color for their Dunks, however with past Gold releases like the Olympic Dunk High, it is only right that they do another pair for 2008.
The Metallic Gold, White and Black Dunk High seen above stands out from most of the recent releases and is very clean, but Nike made the mistake of using a foil like material for the Gold, which really made the shoe slightly less appealing. Nike has used this style as a template and will be releasing this shoe in a Silver and Black color-way.

Reebok Kool Aid Full Look

Sneakerfiles has been lucky enough to be presented with a full look of Kool Aid inspired package by Reebok, which consists of bright colored sneakers inspired by flavors of the Kool Aid drink. This full look displays more of the shoes that weren’t previewed the first time we covered the Kool Aid package.
A wide variety of colors and their inverted color-ways offer many ways to mix and match. Reebok is a true innovator when it comes to the shoes; they have been able to come up with something new, with each Reebok Kool Aid having the scent of its corresponding flavor. In addition, matching apparel will also be available and will be released along side of the shoes. Three flavors are officially launching on February 1st!

As apart of the Regional series, Central residents will have the opportunity to purchase this Limited Edition Nike Air Force 1. Seen in a two tone Grey/Black color-way with the back panel and swoosh in Grey, a design that is seemingly more popular than ever with Air Force 1’s. However, the glossy Patent Leather back panel adds a little bit of flair to what was once seen as a plain Black and Grey color-way. Release date is set for February 9th and exclusive to Central states.

Now this is a pair of Nike Air Max 90s that could be seen released last year along with a slew of other bright and flashy sneakers that seem like an oddity. At carnivals, there are extraordinary things and it is only right that this Air Max 90 to be given the title of “Carnival Edition”, not be mixed up with the Carnival Air Force 1’s that released a few years back and were no where near this flashy.
Like many of Nike’s creations, the color choices look out of place, a Blue/Pink/Neon Yellow color-way is suppose to be the selling point along with a two toned stitching and patterned laces. Release will be only to Quickstrike Accounts. Via Hangtime.

Nike Vintage Vandals and Terminators - Fall 2008

Continuing with their Vintage collection, Nike will rolling out these Vintage Vandal and Terminator Hi’s for Fall ‘08. Like the previous “Be True To Your School” Dunk Hi’s, the Vandals and Terminators also feature the usual wear and tear and discoloring and yellowing at the mid-sole. Reebok did a special collaboration with Sesame Street, and now you can add New Balance to the list. Characters from Sesame Street that have their own New Balance is Cookie Monster, Elmo, and Oscar the Grouch.

2008 marked the year that Nike would infuse the Air Force 1 and the Air Jordan 12. Known as the Air Jordan Force 12 Fusion, they feature Brown suede, Black leather and Gold accents. Jordan Brand has detailed the shoe with writing “The Best of Both Worlds” on the inside of the shoe and a Jumpman at the back of the shoe with an inscription below it.
